What kind of contests can i join?
We’re spreading the field wide on Cricket11 where you'll join a bunch of contests like 2-member, 3-member,
5-member and 10-member contests (depending on the number of competitors in a contest). You can join money
contests to win real cash and/or the free-to-play practice contests to hone your ability until you're assured
to join money contests.
What are public contests?
This is where Cricket11 gets even more awesome! Public contests are open for all to join;
whereas private contests allow you to invite & challenge your friends in the same contest. You can
invite your friends by email or through Facebook. Only those who have the code to a private contest
can join that contest.
How do I join contests?
To join contests, click on the ‘Join Now’ button below the particular contest you want to join.
What are money contests?
Cash contests of Cricket11 are where you participate by paying an entry fee and compete with other users to win real money! The prize money is awarded to the user who has the highest points in the contest.
In a practice contest, you compete with other users for bragging rights. Unlike cash contests, there'll be no entry fee for this contest. A practice contest can assist you boost your fantasy cricket game skill. Once you're assured with your selection skill, you can join cash contests.
How do I know if a contest has a single winner or more than one winner?
A contest with more than one winner or multiple winners will be denoted by the crown icon.
How many winners are going to be announced for contests with multiple winners?
The winners can vary for different contests. The number of winners in a contest will be shown by clicking on the 'Multiple Winners' link and this data will be disclosed as soon as the contest is made available to join.
How is the prize money distributed in case of multiple winners?
The prize money that every winner can receive is explained in detail on clicking the 'Multiple Winners'
(M) link for that contest. Please note that taxes will be deducted as applicable on winnings above Rs.
10,000 as per government laws.
What happens if there's a tie between winners of a multiple winner contest?
In case of a tie between winners of a multiple winner contest for any position, the prize money for
the winner's position and the immediately next winning position (if any), so forth in accordance with the
quantity of tied winners, will be aggregated and shared equally among the tied winners.
All other prize money will remain as per the winner's standing.
For example: If there are two winners tied for the first position, the sum of the first and second
position prize money are going to be distributed equally between these two winners and the next highest
scorer will be awarded the prize money for the third position. Currently, there aren't any tie breakers
and therefore all teams who have scored equal points will be considered as tied for a position.
What happens if an ODI/T20 match is abandoned?
If the real match is abandoned fantasy cricket match will be cancelled and therefore the entry fees will be refunded. This includes scenarios where the real match is abandoned without a single ball being bowled, as well as where the match is abandoned after it's started.
Notes:
If the real match contains a result (i.e., ends in a win to either team or a tie but not a "no result")
even if not played out totally, we'll announce the results of the fantasy cricket match as per the fantasy book
points accumulated, except wherever a result or progression of a team in the tournament is a consequence only of (i)
the results of a super Over or Bowl Out, (ii) the toss of a coin, (iii) prior results between or relative standings of
the cricket11 teams within the tournament, or (iv) any methodology apart from those envisaged by the official score
revision rules (e.g., Duckworth Lewis Stern) applicable to weather-affected matches in the specific tournament.
Where a fantasy cricket match has been cancelled for the aforesaid reasons, or any other reasons as may be notified
from time to time, the entry fees of all participants in such match will be refunded fully. For the sake of clarity,
the scores of a super over shall not be tabulated for the aim of fantasy cricket match scorecard points under any
circumstances.
What happens if a test match is declared as drawn?
If the real test match is declared as drawn with neither of the teams finishing a single inning,
the fantasy match are going to be cancelled and the entry fees will be refunded.
If the real test match is declared drawn with either team (and not essentially both) finishing one
inning, the fantasy match will be considered to have completed and the entry fees won't be
refunded.
Notes:
An innings will be deemed to be completed if a batting team either declares or gets bowled out
(i.e., loses 10 wickets) in such innings.
What if the contest doesn’t fill up with required number of participants?
In case of a money contest, the contest are going to be cancelled and the entry fee will be refunded to your account. but where’s the fun in that? thus, make sure to invite most friends to join the contest and fill the required slots!
What do I win in a practice contest?
You’ve need to pay a little money to win more cash in return. practice contests don't have any money prizes and are meant for those who want to achieve experience in playing and boost their skill.

Why do ranks keep unsteady during a contest?
As the players perform in the real-life match, your team keeps earning points for your chosen players’ performances. The points status showing next to your total points indicates if the match is in progress or completed.
Can I get my friend(s) to join identical contest in which I’m playing?
There is nothing better than friends competing against each other in the same contest! That’s why we've got private contests wherein you will invite your friends through email otherwise you can share a unique code on your or Facebook wall to participate within the same contest.
Can I join future matches and contests in advance?
Considering the thrill and fervour of cricket fans, we have a tendency to permit our users to pre-select their teams for all the matches that are open on Cricket11 at any given purpose of your time.
Can I view other users' teams in a contest?
Sure! but to maintain the element of surprise, we have a tendency to permit users to look at other users’ teams only after the deadline hits. to view your opponent’s team, go to the ‘Joined contests’ tab for a match and click on your opponent’s team name. you can also track your competitors by downloading the details of other teams in that contest.
Can I join a contest in the middle of the series?
Of course, the beauty of the daily format is that you will join a contest in the middle of a series that's not yet closed (deadline has not passed) and have an equal opportunity of winning as everyone else.
Do I have to create a separate team for every contest?
Yes! You’re needed to form a separate team for every new contest.
How do you decide the winner of a contest?
The team which gets the highest points at the end of the match will be announced as the winner of that contest.
Why do you charge me a fee to enter a contest?
We charge a platform fee to access our fantasy amusement facilities for improving and maintaining
the facilities, as well as awarding cash prizes.
However, the entry fee will be credited back to your Cricket11 fantasy cricket game account in case
of cancelled matches due to abandoned matches. (Please check the FAQ for ‘What happens if a match is
abandoned?’)
